Track Records was a record label founded in 1967 by Kit Lambert and Chris Stamp, managers of The Who. Track was a subsidiary of Polydor Records, and distributed material by The Jimi Hendrix Experience in the United Kingdom, the last of which was the single "Gypsy Eyes", released in October 1971. "Purple Haze" was the first single to ever be released on the label, and Are You Experienced was the first album to ever be released on the label.
